The Bachelor of Civil Engineering Technology (Asset Management) programme is an excellent choice for graduates in engineering or other related subjects who wish to pursue a profitable career as a civil engineering technologist. The curriculum is developed in collaboration with the main industrial partners.
The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience to give students the skills necessary to manage civil engineering assets, which include methodically planning, building, operating, maintaining, and disposing of infrastructure assets like roads, bridges, buildings, water and wastewater systems, and other facilities. The four-year bachelor's degree programme consists of three years of on-campus instruction and ten months of on-site work-based learning (WBL) to gain new skills and knowledge in civil engineering asset management. Through WBL, students will learn about the true work culture of the company and receive practical training and instruction in an actual work environment.
